I thought I would post some images of the medical clinic at Double Harvest. As you watch the news you seems that most of Haiti is totally out of control and without much leadership or organization. Places like Double Harvest are an exception to the rule in Haiti. They are part of the "contrast". The mission is a productive farm, providing work and food to Haitians, they have piped clean drinking water from their well to several villages in the area, they provide a school for the Haitian children ( and feed them every day) and the provide a medical clinic on a continuing basis meeting medical, dental, eye care needs. Here are some pictures of the clinic. It is my understanding that the Haitian doctors that work there have been working day and night at the clinic treating victims of the earthquake.
As a mission they also have a continuing spiritual outreach to the people. One way they do this is they have a 50" plasma screen TV over the entrance to the clinic. The entrance area is a covered walkway where people wait to be seen. The monitor plays evangelistic programs.
